Currently, Paws Across Timiskaming operates as a 100% foster-based rescue. This means every dog and cat we save is cared for in the private home of a loving volunteer. Our capacity is limited by the number of available homes.

The Mission: A Permanent Safe Haven. Our ultimate goal is to open a physical animal shelter to serve the Timiskaming District. We are actively working towards acquiring a commercial building. This facility will allow us to rescue more animals, handle emergency intakes, and provide a central hub for our community.
