How We Achieve Our Mission
Animal Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Adoption
Relieve the suffering of abandoned, abused, neglected, or homeless animals within the Timiskaming district by providing rescue services, operating an animal shelter and foster network, and facilitating responsible adoption.
Animal Welfare and Overpopulation Prevention
Promote the humane treatment of animals, prevent cruelty, and reduce overpopulation by supporting spay/neuter initiatives, promoting responsible care practices, and collaborating with veterinarians, community partners, and local authorities.
Education and Public Awareness
Advance education by providing information, resources, and workshops to the public on responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, pet health, and the benefits of spaying and neutering.
Volunteer and Youth Engagement
Engage, train, and support volunteers and youth by offering opportunities to learn about animal care, welfare practices, rescue operations, and community service.
